Animal Care Center of Somerset is dedicated to quality veterinary services in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our highly-qualified staff is proud to serve pet owners and their companions from Somerset, KY and surrounding communities. We combine the latest veterinary technology, such as digital radiography, with our experience in animal healthcare to help your pet live life to the fullest!

Kayla Dickerson Veterinary Assistant

Kayla is a lover of all animals whose menagerie includes 3 dogs (Cerb, Pebbles, and Gemini), 2 cats (Jesus and Nova Jinx), and 3 Kenyan Sand Boas (Jack, Sally, and Medusa). Kayla has been an employee of Animal Care Center for over 7 years, and although she was born in Ashland, KY, she moved to Somerset in 2003. We think of Kayla as our resident expert on snakes, and she loves to go hiking, collect movies, and all things related to music!

Julia Hill Receptionist

Julia was born and raised right here in Somerset, KY and is a recent graduate of Southwestern High School.  She is attending Somerset Community College in the pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. In her spare time, Julia loves reading and spending time with her Beagle, Dash and her cat, Pearl.

Hunter Carlton Kennel Technician

Hi, my name is Hunter Carlton. I am a senior at Pulaski County High School. I am working towards a degree in veterinary medicine and pursuing a career as a veterinarian. I love to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors. I grew up on a farm raising beef cattle, and that is one of my passions in life as well.

Ciara Wesley Receptionist

My name is Ciara Wesley. I’m an all around animal lover, especially my four fur babies; Bandit, Cooper, and my two cats, Sally and Sam. I enjoy spending my time on the lake, reading, and cuddling my little family and fur babies.

Jerrica Glover Kennel Technician

Hi, my name is Jerrica Glover. I am crazy about animals. I have one dog, Cooper, and two cats, Riley and Chloe. I love spending time with my family and friends, and going on adventures.

Madison Armes 

Madison was born in Somerset Kentucky, and graduated from Somerset Christian school in 2017. Madison attended Somerset Community College and took the basic classes to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. In her spare time Madison enjoys spending time with her family and attending First Apostolic Church. Madison has five dogs Bella a chorkie, Ollie a sheepadoodle, Oakley a golden doodle, Evie, a miniature schnauzer and Millie, a flat-coat retriever mix. With hopes rescuing another doodle in the future.
