Kayla is a lover of all animals whose menagerie includes 3 dogs (Cerb, Pebbles, and Gemini), a crew of cats, and 1 Kenyan Sand Boa (Sally), and a beta fish (Beta Bill). Kayla has been an employee of Animal Care Center for 10 years, and although she was born in Ashland, KY, she moved to Somerset in 2003. We think of Kayla as our resident expert on snakes, and she loves to go hiking, collect movies, and all things related to music!
Julia Hill Office Manager
Julia was born and raised right here in Somerset, KY. Her crew includes Opal (Pitbull), Lady (Bloodhound), Winnie (Corgi Mix), & the kitty, Gretta. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading & crafting!
Hunter Carlton Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Hunter Carlton.I am a vet student at Morehead State University. I enjoy spending time with my boxer, Axel; I also love to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors. I grew up on a farm raising beef cattle, and that is one of my passions in life as well.

My name is Anastasia Smith, I graduated in 2019 from McCreary Central High School. I have always been a huge animal advocate. I love going on road trips with my dogs and having new experiences.
Madison Armes Veterinary Assistant
Madison was born in Somerset Kentucky, and graduated from Somerset Christian school in 2017. Madison attended Somerset Community College and took the basic classes to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. In her spare time Madison enjoys spending time with her family and attending First Apostolic Church. Madison ‘s crew consists of Copenhagen the cat, Bella (a Yorkie/Chihuahua), Ollie (a Sheepadoodle), Oakley (A Goldendoodle), Evie (a Miniature Schnauzer), Millie (a Australian Shepherd Mix), Oscar (a Shih-Tzu), and Finley (a Doubledoodle).

Hi, my name is Aleah! I graduated from Pulaski County High School. I’ve been working at ACC since December of 2021. Gabe and I enjoy taking long naps and watching our favorite shows!
Born and raised in Somerset, KY, Taylor still resides here with her children and pets. Taylor’s pack consists of Haven (Olde English Bulldogge), Enzo (a Boxer), Apollo (a Great Dane), Butler (a Standard Poodle), Bella (a Standard Poodle), and two kitties; Pongo & Cruella. Taylor attended and graduated from Pulaski County High School in 2011. In her spare time, she loves to travel and tackle outdoor adventures!
Caden Alexander Kennel Technician
Hi, my name is Caden Alexander! I was born here in Somerset and currently attend Somerset High School. I love traveling and learning about the world, and of course, animals.
I have always been around animals of all kinds. I have two dogs (Lexie and Reese), a cat (Carter), and a horse (Flicka) currently. I started learning how to groom alongside my mom when I was very young, and was able to do full grooms by the time I graduated high school. I now groom small dogs and cats, with a focus on cats. I spend my free time hiking, horseback riding, worship leading in my church, and pretty much anything else creative.
Andrew Renner Kennel Technician
Hi, my name is Andrew Renner. I’m currently a veterinary student at Morehead State University. I love hanging out with my two cats, Ninja and Edgar. As an Eagle Scout, I enjoy camping and hiking, or really anything to do with the outdoors!
