Veterinary Hospital in Somerset, KY

Animal Care Center of Somerset is dedicated to quality veterinary services in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our highly-qualified staff is proud to serve pet owners and their companions from Somerset, KY and surrounding communities. We combine the latest veterinary technology, such as digital radiography, with our experience in animal healthcare to help your pet live life to the fullest!

Jody Allen Office Manager

Jody has been an employee of Animal Care Center for more than 12 years. Although she grew up in Orlando, FL, Jody and her daughter, Samantha, moved to Somerset in 1995. She earned an Associates in Science from Somerset Community College then went on to earn her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 2002. Jody is now working on her Masters Degree in Business Administration. She has one dog (Olivia), 3 cats (Pookey, Marcey, and Gwendolyn), a really old aquatic turtle named Henry, and she loves to listen to music.

Julia Hill Receptionist

Julia was born and raised right here in Somerset, KY and is a recent graduate of Southwestern High School.  She is attending Somerset Community College in the pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. In her spare time, Julia loves reading and spending time with her Beagle, Dash and her cat, Pearl.

Destiny Sanchez Veterinary Assistant

Destiny is originally from Burkesville, KY, but moved to Somerset in 2013.  She co-ops through Somerset High School, and will be attending Somerset Community College in the fall.  She has a Jack Russel Terrier named Lola and a kitty cat named Oreo. Destiny enjoys watching movies and taking her puppy on walks.

Lila Boudrie Kennel Staff

Lila grew up in Cincinnati, OH but has recently moved to nearby Monticello, KY.  She graduated from Turpin High School in 2014 and finished her undergraduate studies from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2018.  She has a Pot Belly Pig named Piper and a Mini Lop Rabbit named Roscoe. In her free time, Lila enjoys hiking and exploring the lake!

Kayla Dickerson Veterinary Assistant

Kayla is a lover of all animals whose menagerie includes 3 dogs (Cerb, Pebbles, and Gemini), 2 cats (Jesus and Nova Jinx), and 3 Kenyan Sand Boas (Jack, Sally, and Medusa). Kayla has been an employee of Animal Care Center for over 3 years, and although she was born in Ashland, KY, she moved to Somerset in 2003. We think of Kayla as our resident expert on snakes, and she loves to go hiking, collect movies, and all things related to music!
