Dr. Mary Flynn, DVM
Veterinarian, Practice Owner
The owner of Animal Care Center, Dr. Mary Flynn has had the pleasure of serving the beautiful Lake Cumberland community for more than 25 years. For her undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Kentucky and received a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from the College of Agriculture. Upon graduation from UK, Dr. Flynn continued her education in Auburn, Alabama at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.
Dr. Flynn specializes in the individual care of each of her patients, as well as their families. She nurtures an environment of individuality among her staff, while promoting an atmosphere of warmth, teamwork, and community. Everyone who walks through the doors of Animal Care Center is treated with respect in an effort to promote her belief that all of our clients, and their pets, are part of our family too.
Dr. Flynn and her husband Greg have three children (Joe, Katie, and Olivia), two dogs (Coco and Dolly) and a cat named Sprinkles. Dr. Flynn’s hobbies include all types of water sports and shuttling her kids around to after school activities. She is a member of the American Medical Veterinary Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the Southeastern Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Flynn enjoys educating the community through our local schools and organizations, and has had the pleasure of being inducted into the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
